The PowerSand block is simple to use as a varnish remover, paint stripper, or for any job using your palm sander. Your work will be finished faster as PowerSand requires far fewer change outs than sandpaper. USAGE: PowerSand Extra Coarse is equal to 36 grit sandpaper and is ideal for use on rough wood siding, wooden decks & fences and other flat wood surfaces. It is an excellent varnish remover. PowerSand Coarse is equal to 40-60 grit sandpaper and may be used on garage doors, table tops, hardwood floors, plywood sheeting, and other flat wood surfaces. PowerSand Rust/Metal is equal to 40-60 grit sandpaper and is recommended for metal doors, sheet metal, lawn & garden equipment and other flat metal surfaces. Attach to sander pad with pressure-sensitive adhesive, press down on flat surface to attach. Then fold the paper tabs into the wing clips. Hold firmly and let the sander do the work, add pressure only if needed. Keep the PowerSand block flat against the surface to avoid uneven wearing of the block. Always sand with the grain. If paint or varnish accumulates, tap PowerSand lightly against a hard surface to release. Works with all palm sanders: Black & Decker, Bosch, DeWalt, Hitachi, Makita, Porter-Cable, Ryobi, Skil, Craftsman and more. Note: As when using any abrasive, wear eye protection and a NIOSH-approved dust mask. For sensitive skin, wear gloves. Caution: DO NOT USE on plastic, glass, finished stainless steel, polished aluminum. |
